        What are accommodation portal cards?

        Accommodation portal cards are virtual cards issued by accommodation portals to their clients - accommodation providers. These cards are loaded with funds for bookings made by customers through the accommodation portal.

        It is a type of payment card that exists only in digital form and cannot be presented physically for payment. It usually contains the same information as a regular card, such as the card number, expiry date and security code (CVV). These cards are often created for one-off or short-term transactions, such as online purchases, hotel or flight bookings.

        Terms of Service

        This service is optional and must be requested at the time of contracting. Existing clients can then contact our customer support.

        In order to use these cards for payments, you must have:

        • a functional website of your accommodation, or at least a link to the presentation of the accommodation on a specific booking platform (e.g. Booking)

        • a payment service agreement with Comgate (either for payment gateway or terminal)

        Payments by accommodation portal cards are charged at a flat rate for all tariffs.

        Activation of the Feature

        New Clients

        If you requested this feature when signing the contract, we will provide you with a terminal where the feature is already active, allowing you to use it immediately.

        Existing Clients

        1. Contact our customer support and request activation of this feature.

        2. Our customer support will confirm that the feature has been activated for you.

        3. Check the Switchio Pay app to see if the Moto Payments feature has appeared on the Dashboard.

        Enabling the Feature on the Terminal

        1. Most terminals will download the configuration and install the new feature automatically within 30 minutes of activation by customer support. If this does not happen, you will need to download the configuration manually.

        2. In the Switchio Pay app, click on Settings → Server Parameters.

        3. In Server Parameters, click on Download Configuration.

        4. The configuration will automatically download, and the terminal's printer will print a confirmation of the update.

        5. Return to the Dashboard. Here, you will find a new icon with the installed Moto Payments feature.

        How to Use the Card on the Terminal

        A platform on which you advertise (e.g., Booking) will issue you a card with funds for the reservation. You can transfer funds from this card to your account by processing a payment using the Moto Payments feature on the terminal.

        1. On the terminal screen, click on Switchio Pay.

        2. In the app's Dashboard, click on Moto Payment.

        3. Enter the amount, currency, and optionally the variable symbol of the payment, then click Pay.

        4. On the next screen, enter the card details: card number, expiration date, and CVV code.

        5. Click Continue.

        6. The payment will be processed, and the terminal will print a receipt.

        The funds will be transferred to your account on the next business day.

        Use this feature only for cards issued by accommodation platforms. Using other cards poses a security risk and may result in the feature being blocked.
