To perform the terminal update, follow the steps shown in the following two video tutorials (they show the procedure for updating to version 3.1.1, which is similar for newer versions).
- Updating the Switchio Store app
- Updating the PAYA app
Description of the update
For the update to be successful, the terminal must be connected to the Internet at all times. For instructions on how to connect to the Internet, see the First steps with the terminal page.
- Exit the PAYA payment application using the "Close application" button. If you have an older version of the payment app, the button is located in the top right corner of the screen.
- Go to the main screen.
- Click on the Switchio Store icon.
- Click on the Switchio Store icon, then click on the "Update" button. This will start the app update. Then use the arrow in the top left corner to go back one step and continue with the next point. If the update does not appear, follow the instructions to clear the app's memory, then return to this point.
- Click the PAYA icon, then click the "Update" button. This will initiate the application update. If there is no update option, the latest version is already in the terminal.
- When the application is finished updating, you will see options to uninstall (Uninstall) and open the application (Open). Click on the "Open" button.
- The update has been completed.
- Exit the PAYA payment application using the "Close application" button. If you have an older version of the payment app, the button is located in the top right corner of the screen.
