Connection with Wi-Fi

      Connection with Wi-Fi

        Article Summary

In order to make payment transactions on the terminal, it needs an internet connection - for example, via Wi-Fi. The terminal only supports networks that use the usual 2.4 GHz frequency. For smooth operation, we recommend ensuring a good Wi-Fi signal. This is because if the internet connection fails during the payment transaction, the payment will not be completed. You can check the strength of the Wi-Fi signal by looking at the icon in the top bar of the terminal screen, just like on a mobile phone.

You can also set up the connection itself, just like on a mobile phone. Below you will find a detailed video tutorial and step-by-step instructions.

        1. Turn on the payment terminal by pressing the left side button.
          powerb.
        2. Once launched, you will see the Android interface, which is the same as on a mobile device.

        Settings via the status bar

        1. In the Android interface, pull down the status bar (see the red arrow in the left picture) to open the control centre, where there is an icon for Wi-Fi connection (see the red circle in the right picture).

        2. A short tap on this icon will open a quick Wi-Fi window, where you need to activate Wi-Fi (using the switch in the top right of the picture), then you can choose from the available Wi-Fi networks. After selecting the network, you need to enter the password for it and then the connection will start.
