- Automatically
Manual update
For the update to be successful, the terminal must be connected to the Internet at all times.
- Exit the PAYA payment application using the "Close Application" button. If you have an older version, the button is located in the top right corner of the screen.
- Go to the main screen.
- On the main screen, click on the "Settings" gear icon.
- In Settings, select "Applications / Apps".
- Then click on "Switchio Store".
- Click on the right button "Force stop".
- Then click on "Storage".
- Click on "Clear Data".
- Use the round icon button on the bottom bar of the screen to navigate back to the main screen.
- Click on the Switchio Store icon.
- Check the app version. If you have version 1.4.1, then do not update (you have the latest version), but use the arrow in the top left corner to go back one step and continue with the next point.
If you don't have that version, click the "Update" button. Then use the arrow in the top left corner to go back one step and continue with the next point. - Click on the PAYA icon, then the "Update" button. If there is no update option here, the latest version is already installed in the terminal.
- When the application is finished updating, you will see options to uninstall (Uninstall) and open the application (Open). Click on the "Open" button.
- The update has been completed.
Automatic update
The automatic update takes place in the background of the app and the terminal displays a notification in the download bar that the Switchio Pay app is being updated and then completes the update (see image below).
