Connecting with a data SIM

If you have your own SIM card, you need to insert it into the terminal.

SIM Card Type

Always insert a standard-size SIM card into the terminal (do not use a microSIM or nanoSIM).

N5 Fix / CT20 Fix

The SIM card slot is located on the bottom side of the terminal. For CT20 Fix, you need to remove the terminal cover.

1. Turn the terminal over with the display facing down.

2. Insert the SIM card chip-side down into the slot labeled SIM.

3. Turn on the payment terminal by pressing the button on the left side of the terminal.

   • If the terminal was already on, restart it to recognize the new SIM card.

4. The terminal will prompt you to enter the SIM card PIN code. This activates the data connection.  

Checking the data connection

CT20 Fix
You can check the data connection on the terminal display in the status bar or in Terminal Settings → Network and Internet → Mobile Network.

N5 Fix
You can check the data connection on the terminal display in the status bar or in Terminal Settings → Wireless Connections → More → Mobile Plan.

N5 Move / N92 App

The SIM card slot is located under the terminal’s battery cover.

1. Turn the terminal over and carefully remove the battery cover.

2. Remove the battery (for easier access to the slot).

3. Insert the SIM card with the chip facing down.

4. Replace the battery and close the cover.

5. Turn on the payment terminal by pressing the button on the left side of the terminal.

   • If the terminal was already on, restart it to recognize the new SIM card.

6. The terminal will prompt you to enter the SIM card PIN code. This activates the data connection.

Checking the data connection

You can check the data connection on the terminal display in the status bar, or in Terminal Settings → Wireless Connections → More → Mobile Plan.
