Quickstart Guide

Comgate offers a choice of 2 types of payment terminals:

• N5 Move (portable - with rechargeable battery)
• N5 Fix (fixed - connected to the mains)

The terminals differ only in hardware. The control application (Switchio Pay) is the same for both types. 

You choose the type of terminal when concluding the contract. If you want to exchange the terminal for another type later, please contact our customer support. 

N5 Move

The N5 Move is a payment terminal with a full graphic backlit display, receipt printer and the possibility to connect to a POS system. Its operating system is Android OS.

This is a portable terminal that has a rechargeable battery. It connects to the Internet using Wi-Fi or data SIM.

N5 Fix

The N5 Fix is a payment terminal with a full graphic backlit display, receipt printer and the possibility to connect to a POS system. Its operating system is Android OS.

It is a stationary (fixed) terminal that needs to be connected to the mains with a power adapter. It connects to the Internet via an Ethernet cable, Wi-Fi or data SIM.

Terminal installation

1. Connect your terminal to an internet network
   • Connecting with Wi-Fi
   • Connecting with a mobile data SIM - you can use your own SIM card or order one from us..
   • Connecting with ethernet data cable (currently unavailable)
     
2. Open the payment application by tapping on the icon
3.  Make the first payment
