Settings and Handshake

Settings

The settings include tools for downloading parameters from the server and editing them, which you can use in case a change has been made on the terminal that has not been propagated to its system (e.g. disconnection from the POS system). The "Server parameters" item downloads new parameters manually. To do this, you need to enter a password, which will be provided by customer support. 

Clicking on "Server Status" starts the handshake process, which results in an Online, Offline or Unknown status. If the status is other than Online, the terminal has no connection to the server and needs to be checked for status or updated. The "About Terminal" tab lists the current version of the application.

Handshake

Use the handshake feature to determine the current state of the application connection to the communication server, which results in an Online, Offline, or Unknown state. Clicking on the "Handshake" option will display "Updating" in the top panel of the application, followed by the communication status.
